Folks, I'm exploring a run for the Republican nomination to the U.S. House in Tennessee's 1st Congressional District, the election is August 6th, 2020. I was born and raised in Northeast Tennessee. Before graduating high school, I decided to serve my country and enlisted in the Army three months after turning 18.

To me, the Army was a way to make an impact on society, while gaining job skills, an education and an opportunity to travel to different parts of the world and build a substantial resume all while serving my country. By joining the Army, I followed in the footsteps of my grandfather and numerous other family members, to include a Great Uncle who was killed in France during WWII. two brothers and numerous great-uncles and cousins all served our country proudly.

I faithfully and honorably served our nation for 20 years and 29 days and spent 11 years & 11 months as a Senior Noncommissioned Officer (SNCO) where I held numerous leadership positions at a variety of postings. I’ve served tours in Iraq and Afghanistan and was extremely honored to have served two Presidential Administrations as a member of the White House Communications Agency.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Homeland Security from American Military University where I was subsequently invited to join The National Criminal Justice Honor Society Alpha Phi Sigma as a lifetime member. I then received a Master of Science in Leadership with a Major Concentration in Global Leadership from Duquesne University, a Certificate in Executive Leadership from Cornell University and a Certificate in Leaders of Learning from Harvard University. Additionally, I have numerous other certificates and certifications from various entities within the government and from the private sector.

Since retiring from the Army, I’ve been politically active at the local, state and national levels, volunteering for various County GOP functions across the 1st Congressional District, served as a Delegate with Tennessee Young Republicans at the Young Republican National Convention in 2017, served as a volunteer for the 2017 Presidential Inaugural Committee and I’ve served as a  White House Staff Associate/Advance Associate, advancing the President and Vice President 2018-Present. Additionally, I’ve been very active in Veteran Service Organization(s) and have held numerous positions at the Post level and have served as a District Commander.
